What we keep
We keep the information needed for your memberships, visits, stamps and rewards. You can also provide an email, birthday, visit ratings and communication preferences, opt in to a public founder alias, or submit an external programme name and status for optional cafe status matching. We do not track you across other sites.
Who sees it
Cafe staff access membership and activity at their own cafe, with contact/settings access limited by their role. They cannot browse your memberships at other cafes. Platform operators have restricted support and administration access.
Neighbourhood challenges
You can explicitly join a shared local discovery challenge. We link staff-confirmed visits at participating cafes to your challenge progress after you agree. Each cafe keeps access to its own memberships; partners receive aggregate activity rather than other cafes’ customer lists. Leaving stops new challenge progress. Consent, verified-visit, benefit and funding history remains after completion or profile deletion.
Status matching
If you request matching, the cafe owner reviews the programme name and tier you submit. Do not submit membership numbers or identity documents. Your approved status and expiry can appear on your card and Wallet pass; external evidence stays with your account and the cafe owner. Approved benefit, redemption and funding history is retained after expiry or deletion.
Service emails, including account recovery, are separate from optional marketing. Cafe marketing requires your verified address and email-marketing choice. Offer emails have a stop link; opting out does not remove your membership.
Cafe campaigns
A cafe owner can select audiences using recorded staff-confirmed active days, membership dates and unused rewards. Birthday campaigns require your separate birthday-personalisation choice at that cafe. Owners review and approve campaigns; a random comparison group may receive no message or incentive. Reports compare later verified activity without inferring purchases or sales. Current permissions are checked again before dispatch. We retain assignment, benefit and communication history; provider acceptance does not prove that you received or read a message. Deleting your profile clears private queued email content and prevents new contact.
Optional linked purchases
At a connected cafe, you can explicitly agree to link one checkout to your membership using a short-lived reference. Reggie reads the payment amount, refunds and time from the provider; it does not store payment-card details or match you using provider customer profiles. Linking grants no marketing permission. You can unlink a purchase in My linked purchases. Deleting your profile removes personal purchase links and pending references; the cafe retains its business payment and refund records. Sandbox test records are labelled separately.
Community campaigns
Joining is optional. Staff-confirmed UK active days after joining contribute to the campaign’s shared goal. Public pages show aggregate progress and qualified vote counts, without member identities. Your one final vote, participation and cafe-funded benefit history remain with your membership. Leaving removes unfinalised progress and votes; published final results and issued benefits remain under their original terms. An earned community achievement can appear on your card and Wallet pass. Profile deletion removes contact details and excludes your account from new activity; historical grants, redemption and aggregate final results remain. Participation grants no marketing permission.
Reward gifts
You can reserve an eligible earned reward and share a private invitation yourself. Public gift pages show the cafe, benefit and deadlines, without sender or recipient profiles. Accepting requires your own active cafe membership. Gift, reservation and redemption records stay with the existing reward history; deleting a sender profile does not cancel an already issued commitment. Private gift links are excluded from personal-data exports.
Membership pauses
You can pause an individual cafe membership without deleting its balance or reward history. We retain its last pause and resume dates and pause count. Pausing turns all marketing choices off. Expiry dates continue; resuming does not automatically restore marketing permission.
Delete
Open your cards and tap “Delete my data”. Your name, email and birthday details are cleared, public founder aliases are removed, and the free-text evidence and notes from status-matching requests are cleared. Loyalty, redemption and funding history remains without those profile details.
Cookies
Private cookies keep your cards and signed-in access on this phone. Cafe staff use sign-in cookies, and invitations may use a temporary cookie. We use no advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
Signup-step counts
A random token held in page memory helps count form loads, interactions, submissions and completed joins. It creates no additional cookie or browser storage. These observation records contain the cafe, entry-link label and timestamps, with no customer, contact, IP or device identifier. The token expires after 30 minutes; observation records are normally removed after 30 days by automated cleanup. Cafe owners see aggregate counts, alongside their recorded membership activity.
